In 1954, Wilson Dillon left his job as a welder at the Panama Canal Company and founded Dillon Construction, Inc. (DCI). Though small at the time, DCI was soon recognized as a firm representing the best of its American heritage — ingenuity, integrity, and attention to quality.
In the 1970s, sons Christopher and Mark joined the company, rapidly changing directions and evolving into one of Panama’s most dynamic civil works contractors. From building runways in remote parts of South America, constructing new ports in Central America to completing timely projects for the Panama Canal Authority, DCI’s commitment to quality reached the gold standard of E&C solutions in Panama.
Today is a new era, and this legacy forms the core value of Isthmian Construction Services, Inc. (ICS).
